I was working in the greenhouse this morning with the warm sun filling my senses. In the distance a sound evoked a memory of you. It came whispering on the wind and my heart grew sad and lonely knowing I can no longer see you again. So I turned my thoughts to sweet memories of days gone by and I remembered a tall handsome young man full of life about to marry. I stayed awhile with you there in the past until drawn back into reality. It's such a long time since l998.
I miss you and still love you,
Mom
Memory's Lovely Garden
There's a very special garden
Where the trees of memory grow
Nurtured by the kindness
And concern that good friends show.
The roots are cherished memories
Of good times in the past
The branches tender promises
That souls endure and last.
It's a place of peace and beauty
Where bright new hopes can start
It's memory's lovely garden
That soothes the hurting heart.

Miss Me, But Let Me Go
~Author Unknown~
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me,but Let me Go!
